Ep. 198: The Tennessee Loop

Episode Summary

The protests for the murders of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor have affected people across the world and wrestling is no exception. We’ll talk about how people in this weird bubble have responded… and try to talk a bit about the normal news as well

Episode Notes

Hal, Danielle and Lindsey are back, but wow what a trying week it’s been. The protests over the murders of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor have affected people across the world. Wrestling is no exception.

Dozens of prominent wrestlers have responded to the news in some remarkably encouraging ways that we’ll discuss. But we’ll also properly shame the few that spoke out in bad or questionable faith.

Plus, we’ve gotta talk about some normal wrestling right? There’s been plenty of developments like the road to The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever(?), WWE working us into a shoot with Drake Maverick and why Jim Ross should leave the blue chew at home the next time he’s on comedy.

The Three Count

Danielle put over Big E’s tweets from this past week.

Lindsey put over the best of wrestling’s response to the chaos including Michael Vincent Young.

Hal put over Adam Cole’s staring contest with a hamster.

Hosted by Hal Lublin, Danielle Radford and Lindsey Kelk

Produced by Julian Burrell for Maximum Fun.
